Marine Sniper

Published by Jason M at 10:17 am under Book Review

Marine Sniper is an autobiography of an American hero, Carlos Hathcock. It is written by Charles Henderson. It is the first of a two book series about Carlos. The second book is Silent Warrior. Marine Sniper places a different twist to the Vietnam War then generally portrayed by the main stream media. There were many genuine American heroes in that war and Carlos is one of them. Not all of our soldiers were “baby killers” and incidents like the My Lai Massacre were not the norm. This book covers Carlos’ early life and Vietnam deployment. It tells of Carlos pioneering efforts in the art of sniper warfare, and covers many of his most exiting missions. This is definitely a must read.
