Is Glenn Beck Bad for America? Is Rush Limbaugh Good for America? These are the questions that are asked about any Conservative if they are an effective voice against the Left. Time never questions if Michael Moore, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, or Barack Obama are good for America, because of course they are. That’s just a given, everybody knows that Socialism is good for America. Everybody knows that the Founding Father’s belief in Capitalism, Free Trade, and Liberty was misguided and that it hasn’t worked for the last 200 plus years. Everybody knows that Karl Marx’s ideas in The Communist Manifesto has been a raving success when applied to the political structure of any nation. Come on people, the former Soviet Union was a beacon of light in this dark Capitalist world. If the Left leaning bias in the media is not obvious to you, then you are a Hobbit living in the Shire for your entire life and are completely unaware of the Evil of Sauron and Mordor.

Follow the link below to see a list of stories in Time Magazine which heap praise and adoration on the avowed anti-capitalist and socialist Michael Moore.

Conspiracy Theories

Published by Jason M under Politics

Since the Libs have all their conspiracy theories about Bush and Cheney, (i.e. Bush was behind 9/11, Cheney blew up the levees in New Orleans, Bush was awol from the National Guard, Cheney eats cute puppies alive, etc. etc.)  I have decided to spread the seeds of conspiracy about Obama and his ilk. Hopefully some of these will take root and spread like a pandemic through the blogosphere.

  • Obama, Pelosi, and Reid are Cylons secretly plotting the demise of the earth through the hoax of global warming.
  • Obama’s economic policies will make 2 + 2 < or = or > 12.6.
  • Obama want to replace the military’s standard issue M16 with new high-tech slingshots that shoot marshmallows.
  • Obama wants to replace the US currency with the historically tried and proven sticks and stones.
  • Obama will ban the sale of beans, to prevent flatulence, which is one of the primary contributors to global warming.
  • Obama was secretly behind the failed plot to tickle John McCain during the Presidential debates.
  • Obama is a robot controlled by a band of artificially intelligent teleprompters created by the CIA.
  • Obama is actually a radical Amish man, he just does a great job disguising it.

Freedom of Education?

Published by lorenzo under Politics,Religion

A court in New Hampshire, recently ordered that home-schooled Amanda Kurowski be sent to public school. The order signed by Family Court Justice Lucinda V. Sandler says the 10-year-old’s Christian faith could use some shaking up—and that the local public school is just the place to do it. So while the child’s lawyers at the Alliance Defense Fund, a Christian legal outfit, filed a motion asking the judge to reconsider, last week Amanda started fifth grade at a local public school.
Amanda’s mother has had primary custody over her daughter since she and Amanda’s father divorced 10 years ago. The father has had long-standing complaints about the effect of home-schooling on his daughter’s “socialization,” even though Amanda has already taken classes at the school and participated in extracurricular activities. But the order appears to be based on the guardian ad litem’s worry about Amanda’s “rigidity on faith.” The order also accepts the same guardian’s conclusion that Amanda belongs in a public school because she “would be best served by exposure to different points of view at a time in her life when she must begin to critically evaluate multiple systems of belief and behavior and cooperation in order to select, as a young adult, which of those systems will best suit her own needs.”
In a state whose motto is “Live Free or Die,” this is an extraordinary line of reasoning. Just how extraordinary might best be appreciated by contemplating the opposite scenario: the reaction that would ensue were a court to order a young girl out of a public school and into an evangelical one so she might gain “exposure” to other “systems of belief.”
We are seeing an ever increasing encroachment of political agenda into religious freedom in this country and regardless of your religious preferences stories like this one should chill us to the bone.
How long will it be before they start telling us which churches our children can attend, or maybe which Bibles we can read, or how long till they tell us that we can no longer send our children to a Christian Day School? While all of this sound far fetched and paranoid and it may well be, the fact remains that up till now I thought Amandas story was to.

Obama has fallen to earth

I can hardly believe this Op-ed made it past the Editorial Board at the Sarasota Herald Tribune. I have met the author before, and I concur with his conclusions. Obama and his Administration don’t realize that this is a center – right country and that their winning of the election has more to do with Bush fatigue syndrome and the desire to elect a black president than a liberal/socialist mandate. I myself would love to elect a conservative black President. If it came down to a Republican primary between two ideal conservatives and the difference between them was one being black and the other being white; I would vote for the black candidate. That is simply because I would love to see our country have a black President. I don’t think many people in this country are so different from me, it just comes down to the fact that the majority doesn’t understand the consequences of ideological positions and the desire for a black president was greater than the knowledge of his socialist agenda. The problem is Obama, Pelosi and Reid think that they received some kind of Socialist mandate during the election and they are running away with it. They are, unfortunately for them and fortunately for us, running into the brick wall of a largely conservative country that rejects socialism. Obama’s poll numbers are dropping like a lead balloon as a result. A misinterpreted mandate for Obama, Pelosi and Reid is a win for Conservative Republicans. Look up folks. :)

Why Did President Obama Appoint “Communist” Van Jones As a Czar?

Published by carlos under Politics

Barack Obama’s true colors have come on full display this year.  The decision to bring Van Jones on board as the “Green Czar” is downright scary.  Looking at Mr. Jones’s history should be of interest to all American citizens.  He was a declared “communist” in the 1990’s.  He’s a believer in Black Liberation Theology which is a mixture of Marxism and the gospel.  This combination of unity is supposed to liberate African-Americans.  How can Marxism/communism be held in high regard when those systems have a solid history of mediocre to all-out failure outcomes?   Pure government control and few liberties is about as backward and anti-American as it gets.  Yet Obama keeps on stacking Czars to control society.  Czars don’t get properly examined by congress or the American people.  It’s for this reason that we get little news from them.  But Van Jones has caused quite a stir since coming on board.  Earlier this year, he called republicans “a**holes” while answering a political question at a speech.  It’s crystal clear that he opposes republican views with venom.  If that isn’t enough, he also signed a “truther” petition to investigate whether government was behind the 9/11 bombings.  He later backtracked saying he didn’t read the petition carefully enough.  Right!  He’s called U.S. prisons “slave ships on dry land”.  He plays the “racist card” as well as any mainstream democrat today because he knows he can get away with it.  How can the president of the United States stick by a man like this?  “Google” or “YouTube” Van Jones and you will find speeches that will make you scratch your head.

What I find most scary about Mr. Jones is communist rhetoric.  He wants to destroy “suicidal gray capitalism” and “redistribute all wealth” calling it “eco-capitalism” in the name of green jobs.    His position as the Green Czar is a front to create a new massive welfare program.  He will punish and take away competition from the private sector and help whoever he deems appropriate.  Taking money from the productive part of society and spending it as he chooses will lead to misallocated investments.  He also doesn’t just want to help the poor, he wants to help felons.  The way Van Jones thinks, white people have created most of the problems for society.  This type of thinking is very dangerous.  I will ask this question one more time, why did President Obama pick this man?  It’s my conclusion that Obama is a Marxist.  None of this should come as a surprise.  In 2007, according to the non-partisan National Journal, the President was the MOST liberal senator.  Obama’s views are right in line with Van Jones and Jeremiah Wright.  Americans need to wake up and acknowledge that voting for Obama means voting for everything this country stands against.  Read between the lines of his articulate rhetoric and start reading economic history on communism.  Good luck finding a pleasant outcome. (Sunday morning, one day after writing this, it seems that Mr. Jones has stepped down from his newly appointed post amid controversy) GOOD RIDDANCE!

Where is the Love and Peace?

Published by Jason M under Politics

Osama bin Laden said U.S. President Barack Obama had planted the seeds of “revenge and hatred” toward the United States in the Muslim world.

I thought that Obama was going to usher in a new era of Peace and Love. I was under the impression that the radical Muslim world hated us because of Bush. All this terrorist stuff was Bush’s fault, wasn’t it? I’m confused, I had thought that by now Obama and Osama would be sitting around a campfire in Afghanistan singing Kum Ba Yah and sipping wheatgrass. Notice how the two names are only different by one letter; no wonder the late Ted Kennedy had so much trouble with it. God rest his soul.
