Obama has fallen to earth

I can hardly believe this Op-ed made it past the Editorial Board at the Sarasota Herald Tribune. I have met the author before, and I concur with his conclusions. Obama and his Administration don’t realize that this is a center – right country and that their winning of the election has more to do with Bush fatigue syndrome and the desire to elect a black president than a liberal/socialist mandate. I myself would love to elect a conservative black President. If it came down to a Republican primary between two ideal conservatives and the difference between them was one being black and the other being white; I would vote for the black candidate. That is simply because I would love to see our country have a black President. I don’t think many people in this country are so different from me, it just comes down to the fact that the majority doesn’t understand the consequences of ideological positions and the desire for a black president was greater than the knowledge of his socialist agenda. The problem is Obama, Pelosi and Reid think that they received some kind of Socialist mandate during the election and they are running away with it. They are, unfortunately for them and fortunately for us, running into the brick wall of a largely conservative country that rejects socialism. Obama’s poll numbers are dropping like a lead balloon as a result. A misinterpreted mandate for Obama, Pelosi and Reid is a win for Conservative Republicans. Look up folks. :)

I agree on 2 counts one is I can’t believe a paper like the Sarasota Herald would ever print an article like this, second I believe as much as anyone wants to deny it the election was almost entirely racially motivated in that all that mattered was that we have a black Prez and that where and what he stood for was immaterial…… awesome article
The reality of Obama’s policies have quickly nipped him in the bum. Persuasive speech worked great during the elections. The problem now for Obama is that you can’t create facts out of fiction. Americans won’t be fooled by marxist policies. If Obama keeps sliding, media will be forced to take notice. They’ll ride him as far as they can, but If it starts hitting more wallets, Obama will be in trouble. It’s great to see the right standing up finally. We need to be more intense though. The fight is far from over.
