The Twelfth Imam by Joel C Rosenberg

Published by under Book Review

I just finished this book in two evenings, couldn’t put it down. It’s almost uncanny how Joel’s books seem to alway fit events prior to them actually happening. This is how his book The Last Jihad was, it was written prior to 9/11 but talked about Islamic terrorists using a suicide plane to attack a Presidential motorcade. This book is no disappointment either and brings to light the current events in Egypt and the Middle East. It talks about the Mahdi (Twelfth Imam) returning and ushering in a new Islamic Caliphate. A great read.

Possible WMD found on America soil!!

Published by under News

The Assistant Director of the Port of San Diego appears to have admitted to a KGTV reporter that officials have found, in the past, weapons of “mass effect.” While the Assistant Director is speaking a public affairs official interrupts the officer several times during the interview in an appeared attempt to provide clean-up. The Department of Homeland Security, responding 23 days later, said the officer was “confused” and “nervous”. Hmmmm, scratching my head!!! Looks like I may be a little less confused and more nervous right now.

Watch the video and full report from Trace Gallagher and I guess you decide for yourself.

The Debit Card Rule

Published by under Economics,Politics

The Federal Reserve in December proposed new restrictions on debit card transactions that cap swipe fees at 7 – 12 cents. This represents an almost 84% cut in the current average. At the time of the announcement stocks in the major debit card processors Visa and MasterCard plummeted. Shocker, who would think that the Government meddling would cause problems in the market. This is an attempt by the Federal Reserve to impose price caps in our “free market” system. In a Capitalist and free market system competition and the consumer set prices on services and commodities not an over reaching Federal Government. Price caps, subsidies, excessive taxes, tariffs or any other form of Government price setting or regulations always causes havoc in a free market. The market and economy needs to be left alone and to itself. The less government regulates and meddles the more prosperous an economy. It’s simple.
