A new price survey done at the worlds largest retailer showed a 0.6% price increase over just the last two months. At that rate prices should be close to 4% higher in one year. That is double the rate that the Fed is predicting. On November 3, the Fed announced its purchase of $600 billion in Treasury securities. The Fed said it was an effort to keep market rates low since the central bank’s benchmark rate is already at zero. The Federal Open Market Committee’s statement said, “Currently, the unemployment rate is elevated, and measures of underlying inflation are somewhat low, relative to levels that the Committee judges to be consistent, over the longer run, with its dual mandate.” Since that statement though, interest rates have actually gone up, backfiring on a Fed chief who wants his quantitative easing to spark inflation of 2 percent annually. A moderate amount of inflation would be considered good for the economy. The problem is that inflation is already running well above a healthy level, investors said, Bernanke is just not looking in the right place, like a Walmart.
Over the last six to eight years I have constantly heard the question from media commentators, friends and family saying, “What has happened to the Democrat Party?” The Democrat party over the last ten or so years have become increasingly left-wing. The Democrat Party of JFK has become mere shadow of it’s former self. The question though is, “Why?” We asked the same “Why?” question when the Obama Regime started printing massive amounts of money and inserting it into a stagnant economy virtually guaranteeing hyper-inflation and a devaluing of the dollar. The question became, are they just ignorant or are their policies will full acts of destruction? For most Conservatives the answer was it doesn’t matter because either way they are destroying the economy. I say the answer does matter because if ignorance is behind the destruction then we need to address the problem by educating people on basic economics but if the actions are will full then we need to find out why they are destroying the economy. I myself concur that their acts are will full but we need to find out why. The question now for us is how do we address these two problems, an ultra left-wing Democrat Party and the will full destruction of the American economy. Do we address these directly as the cause and the disease itself or are these just symptoms of a deeper and greater problem. With some of the reading I have been doing lately and with Glenn Beck’s latest exposé of George Soros, I am beginning to believe that George Soros and his cronies taking over the Democrat Party and driving it to the far left and George Soros and his ilk encouraging the Democrat Party to intentionally devalue the American dollar are the symptoms and George Soros and others like him that want a New World Order without borders and where social programs run rampant are the disease and the cause. Attacking and addressing the symptoms is no different than taking Aspirin for a head ache caused by a giant brain tumor. We as Conservatives and patriots need to band together and address the cause not the effect and the disease not the symptoms.
Keith Olbermann is back after four days of his indefinite suspension for violating the MSNBC “ethics” policy. This was not the slap on the wrist MSNBC is making it out to be, instead this was kudos for a job well done. Basically, Olbermann was given a four day paid vacation to some private Caribbean island for a job well done after all of his hard work attacking Conservatives prior to the election.
I really don’t have evidence of any of this, but I also don’t have evidence there isn’t any evidence either, which is kinda like evidence. Well anywho, try and prove it wrong, but alas you can’t because it’s all true and makes too much sense.
O’Donnell in a recent statement to Salon blogger Glenn Greenwald said,
“Glenn, unlike you, I am not a progressive. I am not a liberal who is so afraid of the word that I had to change my name to progressive. Liberals amuse me. I am a socialist. I live to the extreme left, the extreme left of you mere liberals, okay? However, I know this about my country. Liberals are 20 percent of the electorate. Conservatives are 41 percent of the electorate, okay?…You can sit there and pretend that liberals should run more liberal in conservative districts. You love the loss of the Blue Dogs. The only way, the only way you have a chairman Barney Frank, there’s only one way, that’s by electing Blue Dogs. It’s the only way. That’s the only way you have a Speaker Pelosi.”
Olbermann suspended for donating to Democratic candidates?? It is nice to see this complete idiot and dolt get suspended but I really don’t think he hurts Conservatives much. His idiocy is pretty obvious. Didn’t even know that NBC actually had an ethics policy or even knew how to spell ethics. Interesting to see that this comes out “after” the election. Oh well, another Liberal bits the dust, at least temporarily. Just like in Juan William’s its great to see the Liberals eating their own.
What is even more stunning than the Republican wins in the Federal and Governor races is the 680 seats picked up across this nation in state legislatures. The Republicans have gained majorities in 14 state house chambers. They now have control of both chambers in 26 states and complete control of 16 states, both Chambers and the Governor seats. There has never been such a power shift in the history of the US. The previous high was after Watergate in 1974 when the Democrats picked up 628 seats. There was no scandal here but the American people are just as ready to impeach this President as they were then. Let’s impeach Obama in 2012 at the polls. This wave needs to keep traveling and the energy level needs to stay high all the way to 2012.
In the State of Florida in early voting the GOP has had 275,000 more voters than the Democrats. That is despite the fact that there are almost 600,000 more registered Democrats in Florida than Republicans. It sure is hard to get those dead people excited about voting though.
In a recent AP-KN poll 47% of Democrats say Obama should be challenged in the 2012 Democratic Primary. This shows how disenchanted Democrats themselves are becoming with the anointed one. This is also why I believe that this November 2nd the Republicans and Tea Party are going to win bigger than the polls currently reflect. The reason for this is because the Conservative base is jazzed up against Obama and his ilk and the Liberal base is not jazzed up for them. In Bush’s 2nd term win in 2004 the Kerry/Edwards ticket thought they were going to win big with the youth vote. They thought the youth of America were all psyched up to vote for them. Instead the youth of America stayed home and played Play Station 2. Well this time is no different. What has Obama done for the minorities, the poor, women, and all the downtrodden lately? Well they haven’t seen the free cars, homes, and cell phones yet, have they? Where are the bags of money Obama had promised them? Didn’t Obama say that when he was elected the seas would stop rising, Global Warming would stop, the recession would halt, a new era of post-racism and bi-partisanship would began. Well the seas weren’t rising and Global Warming wasn’t happening in the first place, but I’m not sure I’m gonna give Obama credit for stopping something that never was happening. The recession hasn’t been halted, unemployment keeps rising. Obama Care was passed with no Republican votes and Stimulus was passed with no Republican House votes. Doesn’t sound like a new era of bi-partisanship to me. The point however is that the left is not exited about this Administration or their policies. No one is excited about Obama Care. No one is even running on the merits of Obama Care. Many Democrats are actually running on the platform that they appose Obama and Pelosi. Current polls are not going to reflect that the Left isn’t even going to show up to vote while the Right is climbing over each other to cast their vote. While Play Station 2 is not going to be the primary interest of the left on Election Day, Xbox 360 will be.
