We all remember how Dick Cheney was spotted in a dugout canoe paddling frantically around the New Orlean’s levees planting bombs so that unfortunate minorities would be drenched. He was sent by the evil George W. Bush because it is known that George in his National Guard days enjoyed throwing cups of water on minorities. It was something about minorities being afraid of water or something like that. Basically it was just a big Presidential sized practical joke that goes back to both Dick and George’s college days. Well Obama was also spotted wading ashore on the Louisiana coast with snorkeling gear late Tuesday night on April 20th. It is rumored that William Ayers was the one who created the bomb for Obama. It is all just a big Presidential sized practical joke that goes back to the days when Billy and Obama liked blowing things up. Granted Obama wasn’t much help back then at the age of 8 or 9, but that’s why he is rumored to have begged Billy to let him do this one. So thanks to Obama and Billy’s practical joke I’m gonna be diving around tar balls this summer.

Today in a rare demonstration of bi-partisan cooperation both Republican and Democrat Senators physically chased Obama’s appellate court nominee from the Senate chambers. The chase occurred right after the Senators heard testimony and saw a video of nominee Sony Sotmayor giving a speech to the Harvard Law School in 2003. In the speech he said “a wise white man might arrive at a better legal decision than a black man”. Immediately after that statement was heard Senator Harry Reid began yelling “racist” at the nominee. Several other Senators joined in and it appeared that a fight might break out. Sony ducked several punches and ran out of the chambers and the Capitol. Several Senators did try to chase the nominee down, but Sony got away and was last seen running down the mall. There is no word on if he was injured or not. A panting Christopher Dodd was asked why the reaction and he said “If Obama ever sends a racist nominee like that down here again, I will chase him (Obama) out of the White House myself”. The White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs, during a press conference later in the day, declined to comment on the incident; except to say that the Administration stood behind it’s nomination of Sotmayor.
28% of the American people mourn the untimely death of one of the duo of Teleprompters-in-Chief. One of the co-executives died suddenly yesterday afternoon when he fell from the podium to the floor, while the BHO model of the Teleprompter readers was verbally reading his text. He was rushed to the nearest tech bench after the speech was complete, but to no avail. He had succumbed to his injuries, several hours of soldering was not able to resuscitate the Teleprompter-in-Chief. The remaining Teleprompter-in-Chief finished the speech alone with his reader. So far there is no word on the cause of death. There are however two primary speculations. The first is that the Teleprompter-in-Chief succumbed to severe electronic arrest as a result of the BHO Teleprompter reader spilling water on him the night before. There are rumors that current was applied before he was completely dried out. Foul play has been ruled out in that incident. The second theory involves a plot by the Dick Cheney Assassination Squad. The FBI say they are investigating the possible use of a laser cannon by the Dick Cheney Assassination Squad, but said they would not release any more information until the autopsy was complete. The Teleprompter-in-Chief will be lying in state in the Capitol rotunda from Thursday to Saturday. The public is welcome and a State funeral with full military honors will take place on Saturday at noon Eastern. The Teleprompter-in-Chief had served in the first gulf war as the teleprompter for General Schwarzkopf. Some within the administration are saying that despite the dark cloud that hovers over the nation at this time, there is a silver lining. The administration is hoping that with a single Teleprompter-in-chief performing the executive duties that the administration would have a more unified message. The BHO model of teleprompter readers in the past has given confused and conflicting readings when the two Teleprompters did not agree. For example on the campaign trail the one teleprompter had said that as Teleprompter-in-Chief he would not use signing statements, however the Teleprompter that has now passed away, only last month issued a signing statement with the $106 billion war supplemental bill. This includes other promises made by one Teleprompter or the other like “Allow five days of public comment before signing bills” “End income tax for seniors making less than $50,000″ and “Create a $3,000 tax credit for companies that add jobs”. No official word has been given on whether the backup teleprompter reader the Pluggs Model will be performing the reading from now on, but there has been no indication to a Teleprompter reader change thus far. The BHO model uses the latest in 3T (Text To Talk) Technology, and despite the water incident will probably not be replaced.
Obama severely criticized George W. Bush for using signing statements while on the campaign trail. (See video below) A signing statement is a written comment by the President at the signing of legislation. Usually this is just a statement about the bill, but sometimes a President will state that a part of the bill is unconstitutional and they will chose to ignore it or enforce it in a way that they think is more constitutional. It’s similar to the line item veto which past Presidents have wanted to use to cut down on Congress’ pork barrel spending but the signing statement is only used on constitutional or unconstitutional grounds. The line item veto is not law, but frankly neither is the signing statement. I do believe this is an overreach of executive power and I did not support George W. Bush when he used it. The Judicial branch is responsible for declaring legislation constitutional or unconstitutional, but they have been shirking in that responsibility also. Remember Campaign Finance Reform? If a President believes a piece of legislation is unconstitutional he should veto the entire piece. Obama has now broken his campaign promise to not use signing statements when he tried to ignore restrictions to international aid payments in a signing statement. (Read below)
The House rebuked President Obama for trying to ignore restrictions to international aid payments, voting overwhelmingly for an amendment forcing the administration to abide by its constraints.
House members approved an amendment by a 429-2 vote to have the Obama administration pressure the World Bank to strengthen labor and environmental standards and require a Treasury Department report on World Bank and International Monetary Fund (IMF) activities. The amendment to a 2010 funding bill for the State Department and foreign operations was proposed by Rep. Kay Granger (R-Texas), but it received broad bipartisan support.
The conditions on World Bank and IMF funding were part of the $106 billion war supplemental bill that was passed last month. Obama, in a statement made as he signed the bill, said that he would ignore the conditions.
They would “interfere with my constitutional authority to conduct foreign relations by directing the Executive to take certain positions in negotiations or discussions with international organizations and foreign governments, or by requiring consultation with the Congress prior to such negotiations or discussions,” Obama said in the signing statement.
Obama’s approval is bombing like an Al Franken joke. Today’s Rasmussen Daily Presidential Tracking Poll show Obama’s Approval Index at a -5. Looks like the mania just ran headlong into the wall of reality. With job loss on the rise despite the 1.24 Trillion Dollar Stimulus, investors who say the economy is getting worse jumped from 43% before the jobs report to 51% today.

Lately we have been hearing talk about whether we in fact are a “Judeo-Christian” nation. On may 4th, 2009 Congressman J. Randy Forbes (R-VA), introduced House Resolution (H.RES.397) in the House of Representatives to the 111th Congress, stating; “ Affirming the rich spiritual and religious history of our Nation’s founding and subsequent history and expressing support for designation of the first week in May as ‘America’s Spiritual Heritage Week’ for the appreciation of and education on America’s history of religious faith. Whereas religious faith was not only important in official American life during the periods of discovery, exploration, colonization, and growth but has also been acknowledged and incorporated into all 3 branches of the Federal Government from their very beginning;”. This got me thinking; Are we or aren’t we a Christian nation?
Recently, President Barack Obama claimed while in Turkey that “we do not consider ourselves a Christian nation, or a Jewish nation…,” Newsweek stated that this is “The End of Christian America,”. We are constantly hearing of what once were considered religious liberties now being taken away, such as “voluntary” religious activities at public schools, the Gideon’s have lawsuits against them brought on by the ACLU for passing out Bibles to school kids. And the list goes on and on…
Worse than all of those things is the brazen push by special interest groups in this country to get the government to deem unnecessary or even outlaw some of the things that have made this country great.
In 2002 a copy of the Ten Commandments was removed from a courthouse in Montgomery, Alabama after the Supreme Court “decided it violated the “Separation of Church and State”, And yet John Jay the first Supreme Court Justice said, “..No human society has ever been able to maintain both order and freedom; both cohesiveness and liberty apart from the moral precepts of the Christian Religion applied and accepted by all classes. Should our Republic ever forget these fundamental principles of governance, men are certain to shed their responsibilities for licentiousness and this great experiment will surely be doomed”.

Oddly enough when Washington took the oath of office as our first President, he revealed his reverence for the Bible by kissing it. And, he added to the oath at the end, “So help me God,” establishing a precedent which every subsequent President has, of course, followed.
Officials at the Veterans Dept. recently put a stop to the “voluntary” flag folding service during military funerals, because they mentioned God. The wording on the “Flag Certificates” was changed to remove the word “God” , and went even further by saying that the text from the “Pledge of Allegiance” would be censored from it as well because it contained the words “one nation under God”. And yet Alexander Hamilton in a letter to James Baynard in 1802 said “I now offer you the outline of the plan they have suggested. Let an association be formed to be denominated “The Christian Constitution Society” its object to be first: The support of Christian Religion. Second: The support of the United States.”
The brand new “Capitol Visitors Center” in Washington (which could quite easily be termed a $621 million dollar shrine to politically correctness) has conveniently left the phrase “In God We Trust” out of its depictions of the “House Chamber and Speakers Rostrum”, also in its reference to “article 3 of the Northwest Ordinance” which states “Religion, morality, and knowledge being necessary to good government and the happiness of mankind, schools and the means of education shall forever be encouraged”, has decided to leave out any reference to religion and morality stating instead that “..schools and the means of education shall forever be encouraged”. And yet one after another our Founding Fathers have stated that if we are to succeed as a nation it will be because of our trust and dependence on God and not in spite of it.
Benjamin Franklin said “ he who introduces into public affairs principles of primitive Christianity, will change the face of the world”.
John Jay our first Supreme Court Justice said “Providence has given unto our people the choice of their rulers, and it is the duty, as well as the privilege of our Christian nation to select and prefer Christians for their rulers”.
Charles Carroll one of the signers said this “without morals a public cannot subsist any length of time; they therefore who are decrying the Christian religion whose morality is so sublime and pure…are undermining the solid foundation of morals, its best security for the duration of free governments”.
So are we, or aren’t we? The debate will rage on as time passes but one thing is sure: our nation was and still is a Christian nation as far as this writer is concerned. It doesn’t matter what they do they can’t erase history. George Orwell has so correctly said “ He who controls the past, controls the future, and he who controls the present controls the past”, it is imperative that we never lose the awareness that we all have a responsibility to God and to this country to uphold the principles on which this nation was founded.
Samuel Adams in a letter to James Warren in 1779 stated “A general dissolution of these principles and manners will more surely overthrow the liberties of America, than the whole forces of the common enemy. While the people are virtuous they cannot be subdued; but once they lose their virtue, they will be ready to surrender their liberties to the first external invader”. Our nation is as Godly as we are, and I for one am not ready to throw in the towel just yet. John Adams in talking about the Constitution said this, “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate for the governance of any other”. And while the majority of the “people” seem to fall in the latter category, those of us that don’t have a God given responsibility to make sure that America never forgets its rich and Godly heritage, so I salute you Congressman Forbes, keep up the good work I for one am behind you. There are two reasons that make Obama a very dangerous President. These two reasons allow him to do almost anything with impunity. The media won’t question him, the Legislative branch won’t check him, and the Judicial branch won’t question him. The Constitution’s checks and balance system just broke down. The first reason for Obama’s almost unchecked power is his Cult of Personality. A majority of the American people is mesmerized and hypnotized by this man. This is obvious when his personal approval rating does not reflect the lower approval rating of his policies. People do not agree with his policies, but yet they blindly approve of his performance. The lack of logic in this is staggering. The media is not doing their job in checking Executive power primarily because of the Cult of Personality. The second reason for his unchecked power is his race. Yes, I said race. Race is the primary reason the Federal Government checks of the Legislative and Judicial branches are not working. Republicans, Conservatives and anyone else who opposes Obama’s policies are afraid to say anything because they fear the race card. Many live in fear of a hypnotized media accusing them of being racists for opposing any of Obama’s policies, so on rides Obama trampling over the Constitutional restrictions to his office with no fear of reprisal. The danger is in this quote “Power corrupts and total power corrupts totally”. Obama is taking over and threatening private industry and commerce, creating czars with no congressional oversight, firing an Inspector General and GM CEO, making demands on private sector compensations, and on and on…. with seemingly no repercussions. If you think he won’t try to serve past 2 terms, you are just an oblivious mind numbed robot like the rest of them.
