In a recent AP-KN poll 47% of Democrats say Obama should be challenged in the 2012 Democratic Primary. This shows how disenchanted Democrats themselves are becoming with the anointed one. This is also why I believe that this November 2nd the Republicans and Tea Party are going to win bigger than the polls currently reflect. The reason for this is because the Conservative base is jazzed up against Obama and his ilk and the Liberal base is not jazzed up for them. In Bush’s 2nd term win in 2004 the Kerry/Edwards ticket thought they were going to win big with the youth vote. They thought the youth of America were all psyched up to vote for them. Instead the youth of America stayed home and played Play Station 2. Well this time is no different. What has Obama done for the minorities, the poor, women, and all the downtrodden lately? Well they haven’t seen the free cars, homes, and cell phones yet, have they? Where are the bags of money Obama had promised them? Didn’t Obama say that when he was elected the seas would stop rising, Global Warming would stop, the recession would halt, a new era of post-racism and bi-partisanship would began. Well the seas weren’t rising and Global Warming wasn’t happening in the first place, but I’m not sure I’m gonna give Obama credit for stopping something that never was happening. The recession hasn’t been halted, unemployment keeps rising. Obama Care was passed with no Republican votes and Stimulus was passed with no Republican House votes. Doesn’t sound like a new era of bi-partisanship to me. The point however is that the left is not exited about this Administration or their policies. No one is excited about Obama Care. No one is even running on the merits of Obama Care. Many Democrats are actually running on the platform that they appose Obama and Pelosi. Current polls are not going to reflect that the Left isn’t even going to show up to vote while the Right is climbing over each other to cast their vote. While Play Station 2 is not going to be the primary interest of the left on Election Day, Xbox 360 will be.

Jeffrey Miron, Harvard University, writes an excellent essay on the Obama Stimulus plan. This is a must read for all voters as they go to the polls on November 2nd. Jeffrey points out that the Administration’s stated goal of providing economic stimulus in accordance with the Keynesian model was perhaps not the Administration’s primary objective. Despite the Keynesian model’s lack of complete merit the Obama Administration does claim to follow its guide in their economic stimulus plan. The Stimulus however doesn’t follow Keynesian model necessarily, so the question begs to be asked, if not stimulus, what are their objectives? Below is Jeffrey Miron’s conclusion.
The Administration should have endorsed a stimulus package based on a repeal of the corporate income tax and reductions in employment taxes. This policy would have accomplished its stated goals, and the budgetary implications would have been less negative than those of the package ultimately adopted because this alternative plan would have enhanced rather than detracted from economic efficiency. This approach would also have been difficult for Republicans to oppose.
Yet the Administration did not take this approach, presumably because its true goals were not just economic stimulus. Instead, the Administration wanted to reward its constituencies (unions, environmentalists, public education) and increase the size and scope of government. This tactic is consistent with the Administration’s policies in general. Across the board, it has taken a big government, redistributionist approach, whether regarding housing, unions, health, the auto industry, trade, antitrust, or financial regulation. The Administration’s view appears to be that government is better than individuals at deciding how taxpayers get to spend their money and that government should engineer large transfers from richer to poorer.

Oops, the kind of thing you might say if you spill somebody’s drink accidentally, or if you call someone the wrong name, or lock your keys in your car. It happens to most of us at some time or another. However it is totally inappropriate as a response when you blow nearly $800 billion of taxpayer’s money on a government program that blew up in your face. That was jist of VP Joe Biden’s response on ABC when he said that “everyone guessed wrong” on the economic stimulus package. Oops!
Hold on. If Obama and his team failed to grasp the severity of the crisis, were they incompetent? And if they botched the diagnosis, then what about their prescription — stimulus spending plenty of critics warned would come too late to be effective?
America still waits for the promised recovery. Last week unemployment climbed to 9.5 percent, a 26-year high and well above the 8 percent the administration predicted. Worse, Biden’s remarks suggest the current economic team might be out of its element.
And by the way not “everyone” guessed wrong Einstein, exactly what was the voting record on this “Stimulus” package, lets review shall we?

And to make matters worse none of those voting had even read the bill, but were urged to vote for it anyway. Kinda gives new meaning to the “blind leading the blind”.
I will give you this Mr. VP you were right on the guessing part, next time you get the urge to guess at something, try a game show.

Obama’s approval is bombing like an Al Franken joke. Today’s Rasmussen Daily Presidential Tracking Poll show Obama’s Approval Index at a -5. Looks like the mania just ran headlong into the wall of reality. With job loss on the rise despite the 1.24 Trillion Dollar Stimulus, investors who say the economy is getting worse jumped from 43% before the jobs report to 51% today.

Everything on the graph above, except for reality in red, was created by the Obama Administration to predict what would happen if the 1.24 Trillion Dollar Stimulus was passed. Now they want to pass Stimulus 2.0. (Source: http://www.cnbc.com/id/27452818/) The Obama Administration and the rest of the idiots on Capitol Hill, oh, but I repeat myself, must think we are just stupid.
Multiple choice question?
(a) Obama is intentionally destroying the economy.
(b) Obama is unintentionally destroying the economy.
Answer: It doesn’t matter either way he’s destroying the economy.
